Brikena Simnica is a trainee solicitor based in London, working with team members to advise clients on Privacy, Cybersecurity, FinTech, Market Data and Procurement.

Brikena joined Bortstein Legal Group upon completing her LL.M. Legal Practice Course at BPP University and earned her undergraduate law degree at Royal Holloway, University of London. Prior to joining Bortstein Legal Group, Brikena has participated in work placements/internships at banks and financial information providers in London.

Brikena’s practice covers data protection, including advice on Brexit and Schrems II issues, contract remediation projects and working with clients to respond to data subject requests. Additionally, Brikena advises on a broad range of vendor agreements, including working as part of a Bortstein Legal Group team to ensure continuity of essential vendor arrangements upon completion of a major global M&A transaction.

Brikena is a member of the Society for Computers & Law. Brikena speaks Albanian fluently.
