Before accepting a complaint for investigation, LeO will check that a consumer client has tried to resolve its complaint with Bortstein LLP first. A complaint to LeO must normally be made within six months of the date of the conclusion of Bortstein LLP’s complaints procedure and no more than six years from the date of the act/omission, or no more than three years from when the consumer client should reasonably have known there was cause for complaint. Details on how to contact LeO and further information on the procedures involved can be found at https://www.legalombudsman.org.uk/.
