Curt Stevens is an accomplished and versatile senior  legal executive and strategic business partner with demonstrated expertise in information technology, privacy, data security and commercial services within the financial services, travel, hospitality, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing industries. In the technology sector, Curt has drafted, negotiated and advised on a diverse range of agreements and transactions relating to software licensing and maintenance, hardware purchases and leasing, IT reseller, software-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service, infrastructure-as-a-service, social media, e-commerce, EULAs, outsourcing for IT, data centers, and business processes, offshoring, intellectual property, and professional services. Curt has also been instrumental in the creation and implementation of, and training relating to, enterprise-wide IT and data privacy templates, playbooks, policies and best practices for several fortune 500 companies. Curt partners closely with clients and provides strategic legal guidance and consultative solutions to help them achieve optimal business results, while reducing their risk profile, in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Prior to joining BLG, Curt worked as both in-house technology and privacy counsel and consultant to numerous global industry leaders, including Raytheon, The Blackstone Group, NBCUniversal (Peacock TV/Streaming), Verizon, Johnson & Johnson, AvisBudget, Honeywell, Wyndham Worldwide (f.k.a. Cendant Corporation), and MetLife. Curt began his legal career in the government contracting sector, providing transactional and litigation support on complex electronics and aerospace projects for General Electric, Lockheed Martin, the U.S. Air Force, and NASA. Curt earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, from Iona College where he interned for Westchester County Assistant District Attorney (and future Judge and District Attorney) Jeanine Pirro.
