Lynn Stewart is a senior paralegal consultant with more than 25 years of experience in supporting attorneys in a wide range of technology, corporate, employment and litigation matters, and outsourcing transactions.  Working with clients in both the public and private sectors, she has been involved in multiple high value transactions in the pharmaceutical, medical device, financial services, insurance and transportation industries, assisting both firm attorneys and client in-house counsel with contract creation, contract variation and remediation, due diligence reviews, and preparation for trial.

During her time in the US, Lynn provided organizational and substantive support to attorneys on a variety of matters, most notably on a series of silicone breast implant cases acting on behalf of a Fortune 500 multinational corporation. She also managed teams of legal assistants and case clerks supporting attorneys engaged in patent litigation in the biotechnology industry and handling the submission of hundreds of claims to the Johns Manville Settlement Trust for compensation for victims of exposure to asbestos.

After relocating to the UK in 2000 and prior to joining BLG, Lynn worked on UK-wide and global outsourcing transactions, assisted with employment matters including coordinating the review of updated HR and Data Protection policies by attorneys in over 80 countries and jurisdictions, and supported attorneys assisting with the implementation of new technology in UK government departments.    In 2017 she undertook a legal compliance role, aiding partners, associates and legal support personnel, both in the UK and in international offices, with their adherence to the requirements of UK Anti-Money Laundering legislation.

Lynn is a graduate of the State University of New York – University Center at Buffalo (B.A.) and Albany Law School of Union University (J.D.).
